If you are travelling with AirMalta, upon presentation of your boarding pass at our outlet in the Arrivals lounge, you will be benefiting from a 20% discount on your holiday sim pack. The plan will cost you €16 and you will be entitled to a sim card, 1GB of data valid for 7 days and €5 credit to use freely.
You may also buy a new sim card for €10, then top up credit, to purchase separate bundles according to your needs whilst here. In the following link you will find bundles we have at the moment:

At the moment, we are offering an exclusive plan called the Vodafone Circle. When buying a sim card you will have free unlimited calls towards local Vodafone numbers and 100MB with every €10 top up (500MB at the moment until the end of January 2017.)
Unfortunately this offer is available till the 5th of January until now, and we do not know if the offer will be extended, however if you happen to have a relative or friend in Malta, they can purchase it for you and then you only need to top up the account upon arriving.
If you are looking for data plans only, you may rent an internet key from our shop at the airport for a short term as well.
At a deposit of €50, which you will get back upon returning the key you have two options;
either rental of 7 days which includes a data sim card and 3GB of data
or rental for 28 days which includes a data sim card and 10GB of data.

如果能够像我这样，弄一个免费的WIFI，可以考虑不办电话卡，缺点是只能使用3G网络。如果要花钱租WIFI，劝大家趁早别租了，浪费钱，还是在当地办电话卡便宜（少了WIFI设备损坏的风险），我第二程坐的是汉莎航空（实际承运：
马耳他
航空），根据邮件，可以办一个8折的套餐，不过当地人也很随意，给我办2张还能在优惠8欧元，最后我们办了两张卡，每张12欧元=1G流量（4g网络）+5欧元（可以随意使用），1G流量和5欧元只有7天有效期。这个套餐我试了下，最后1天，可以使用卡内的5欧在沃达丰官网直接再购买一个1G（7天）的流量包，这样就等于又多了7天的1G流量，非常划算。
中国
移动电话卡也能直接使用，但是只能使用3G网络，当天流量费用到达60元人民币后，后面的流量免费。
沃达丰手机卡激活使用步骤（重要）：
1、套餐激活启用：发送startup到16200，收到Vodafone回复EUR 5 Credit and 1GB internet,valid for 7 days has been successfully assigned.说明已经开通，可以使用了。
2、设置：手机里4G网络千万不要忘记打开，移动和联通的制式手机都可以使用，我是Mata 8联通版，老婆是三星Note 3移动版，都可以使用4G+的信号。
3、7天快到之前，续包1G流量：发送1GB到16200，收到Vodafone回复Your recurring 1GB Weekly Bundle,valid for 7 days,has been successfully assigned.Eur 5.00 have been deducted from your account.说明1G（7天）续包
成功
。
4、沃达丰还有一种可以去营业厅办理，10欧，沃达丰的网内的电话随意打，路边很多广告牌在宣传。
5、我买的两张卡，谁要可以送给谁，拿了电话卡后，直接每张卡充值5欧，然后包个1G（7天）的流量，不看视频完全够了，等于10欧元就可以把上网搞定了，比租WIFI划算多了。
